Young’s Yeast Rolls

Young’s Yeast Rolls

6 ½ cups all-purpose flour
5 tbsp active dry yeast
2 cups whole milk
½ cup sugar
1 ½ sticks butter
2 beaten eggs
Pinch of salt

Stir together 1 ½ cups of the flour and the yeast. In a saucepan, heat milk, sugar, butter, and salt until butter almost melts. Add this to the flour mixture and mix it. Once combined, add the eggs. Beat on high speed for 2 more minutes. Now, switch your mixer paddle for a bread hook. Mix in the remaining flour until you reach a spongy but not too sticky consistency. Remove the bread hook and cover your bowl to let the dough rise for about an hour, or until it is doubled in size. After it rises, punch it down and turn it onto a floured surface. This recipe can be used to make dinner rolls, rosette rolls, bread sticks, and even donuts if you want to fry it! However you shape your rolls, allow them 30 minutes to rise again after shaping. Then, bake them in a 375* oven for 15 minutes or fry them in oil of your choice for about 2 minutes on each side.

3 Ingredient Rice Crispie Treats

1 Large Box Rice Crispie Cereal
2 bags large marshmallows
2 sticks butter

Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add marshmallows. Stir constantly until melted. Add cereal and stir until well combined. Grease a baking sheet or rectangular baking dish and press the combined recipe into the pan. Use the butter wrappers to keep it from sticking to your hands. Let cool, and then cut into squares with a butter knife.
